Podcast Update - October

Happy Halloween!  We've been a bit on the busy side but no fear, we will give you something to put in your ear-holes and ipods this month.  We hope to give you a full fledged SMD episode sometime soon however we do have some other ideas rattling around our shriveled brains as well.  Something a little more bite-sized.  October, how we love the haunting season here at SMD.  Stay tuned.

Saturday Morning Dubcast #3: Dalek My B@lls

In this long over-due adventure we go take two after a failed take one, a full day of band practice, and some thorough burrito butchery.  All the familiar topics are touched with the resurrection of Zombie Macho Man, beating the Doctor Who horse again, and bringing leverage in with Star Trek.  We rage on some local businesses and incompetent news reporters while marveling at some strange news stories including anus tattoos and everyone's favorite gang, the Juggalos.

SMD Issue #1 Cover

Just for fun we threw together this fake comic book cover to accompany SMD Episode 1: Big Red Cock.  Since the dubcast is going monthly now it should free up some time to do more "issues" for each episode as they come out.  Not to mention, the comic book theme is appropriate now that the show will be monthly.  Don't forget, SMD Episode 3: Dalek My Balls will be up this Saturday, September 1st!  We hope to bring you a new episode the 1st Saturday of each month from here on out.  Now, respect the cock!

SMD Update

As you have no doubt noticed episode 3 of the dubcast is STILL not up. We apologize for the delay. We come to the decision that the dubcast will no longer be a bi-weekly show due to time constraints, schedule conflicts, and other obligations. However, we are hoping to continue to bring you new episodes at least MONTHLY as well as interesting blog posts relating to the usual SMD topics. Episode 3 will be up Saturday, September 1st.

If you miss the sound of our velvety voices in between dubcasts you can get your fix with our other podcast, EMG Radio. EMG Radio is a venue to showcase the music of Electronic Musician Group artists. EMG is "a network of like-minded digital-based musicians that began as a private Facebook Group, founded in 2011. Well, the next episode of Saturday Morning Dubcast has been recorded but I'm still in the process of editing it so it will be delayed a bit longer.  HOWEVER, check out what I picked up today!  It doesn't get more dubcast than this!

Star Trek: TNG/Doctor Who - Assimilation Issues #2 and #3(Variant Cover)

If you've been listening to the dubcast at all you know there are two things that always come up and this series slams them together.  Don't you just love the cover to issue #2!?  The Borg and Cybermen!  Don't fret comic collectors, that sticker muck on the cover of issue #3 is on the BAG not the actual comic book.  I haven't read these yet so I can't speak to the quality of story and sadly I do not have issue #1 yet...but I will.  -RS
